On retrouve souvent l&rsquo;ABS dans les bo\u00eetiers d&rsquo;appareils \u00e9lectroniques, les pi\u00e8ces d&rsquo;usure, les supports, les couvercles ou les composants qui doivent r\u00e9sister \u00e0 une utilisation quotidienne sans se casser.   <\/p>\n\n<p>Parmi ses principaux avantages, on peut citer : une bonne r\u00e9sistance aux chocs, un co\u00fbt modique et une facilit\u00e9 <strong>d&rsquo;usinage <\/strong>et de fabrication, une belle finition de surface et la possibilit\u00e9 de le poncer, de le peindre ou de le traiter ult\u00e9rieurement. <\/p>\n\n<p>Cependant, l&rsquo;ABS pr\u00e9sente \u00e9galement des limites. M\u00eame si elle peut sembler similaire \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u0153il nu, ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s m\u00e9caniques sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement bien plus robustes.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Les <strong>principaux avantages du PA12 <\/strong>sont les suivants : une tr\u00e8s bonne r\u00e9sistance aux chocs, une flexibilit\u00e9 et une t\u00e9nacit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles de l&rsquo;ABS, une meilleure r\u00e9sistance \u00e0 la fatigue et aux vibrations ; il est id\u00e9al pour les g\u00e9om\u00e9tries complexes et les pi\u00e8ces l\u00e9g\u00e8res, et convient parfaitement aux<strong> pi\u00e8ces fonctionnelles imprim\u00e9es en 3D<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n<p>Le PA12 est g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement utilis\u00e9 pour les charni\u00e8res et les clips, les bo\u00eetiers soumis \u00e0 des chocs, les pi\u00e8ces destin\u00e9es \u00e0 l&rsquo;automobile ou \u00e0 la mobilit\u00e9, les composants devant \u00eatre mont\u00e9s et d\u00e9mont\u00e9s \u00e0 de nombreuses reprises, ainsi que les pi\u00e8ces fonctionnelles n\u00e9cessitant une certaine souplesse. <\/p>\n\n<p>Son principal inconv\u00e9nient est qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;offre pas la m\u00eame rigidit\u00e9 que l&rsquo;aluminium.
