Rigid polyurethane (PUR) is a porous material with a closed cellular structure. Its main characteristics include its great power as a thermal insulator. The material is very light and easy to handle. It can be worked with any number of tools; cut with cutters, knives, jigsaws and hot wire. It can also be sanded, milled and bonded to other materials with contact glue and special dowels.
